Bangor Theological Seminary

Bangor Theological Seminary was a private nonprofit graduate-level theological institution historically located in Bangor, Maine. One of the oldest seminaries in the United States, it offered graduate theological education with a focus on ministry preparation within the Congregationalist and United Church of Christ traditions. The seminary ceased operations and closed in 2013, and it is no longer an active degree-granting institution.

During its operational years, Bangor Theological Seminary offered graduate programs including the Master of Divinity, Master of Arts in Religion, and related theological degrees.
