About This Program
B & G HVAC, affiliated with The CEU Authority and located in Marshalltown, IA, sponsors a registered HVAC Technician apprenticeship for those pursuing a career in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning industry. This non-union, employer-sponsored program includes paid on-the-job training from the start.
Over four years, apprentices complete 8,000 hours of hands-on field experience and 576 hours of related technical instruction. Day-to-day work includes installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential and commercial environments under the guidance of experienced technicians. Technical coursework through The CEU Authority covers refrigeration cycles, electrical wiring, system controls, air distribution, and industry safety and code requirements.
Graduates of the B & G HVAC apprenticeship are prepared to enter the workforce as skilled HVAC technicians. Marshalltown and the surrounding central Iowa area provide consistent demand for qualified heating and cooling professionals, and this registered apprenticeship credential is a recognized mark of competency in the trade.
