By accessing or using SkillPlum (skillplum.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

About SkillPlum

SkillPlum is a directory of trade schools, vocational programs, and registered apprenticeships in the United States. We aggregate data from public federal sources (IPEDS, College Scorecard, BLS, Department of Labor) and supplement it with AI-generated descriptions to help users research and compare training options.

SkillPlum is an informational resource. We are not an educational institution, employer, or apprenticeship sponsor. We do not guarantee admission, employment, or placement.

Data Accuracy

We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information. However, the data on SkillPlum comes from third-party federal sources and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. Data sources and years are labeled on every page.

• School and program data is sourced from IPEDS and updated annually.
• Apprenticeship sponsor data is sourced from the Department of Labor and state registries.
• Salary and employment data is sourced from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
• Licensing requirements are researched from state regulatory agencies and may change. Always verify with the relevant state agency before making decisions.

Always verify information directly with the school, sponsor, or state agency before making enrollment or career decisions.

User Accounts

You may create an account to save searches, comparisons, and submit reviews. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

User Reviews

By submitting a review on SkillPlum, you agree that:

• Your review reflects your genuine, firsthand experience with the school or apprenticeship sponsor.
• Your review is your own original content, not written by AI tools or copied from other sources.
• Your review does not contain false statements, personal attacks, hate speech, profanity, or content that violates any law.
• You grant SkillPlum a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your review on the site.
• SkillPlum may remove reviews that violate these terms or our review guidelines at our discretion.

Each user may submit one review per school and one review per apprenticeship sponsor. Reviews are limited to 3 per day.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit fake, misleading, or incentivized reviews
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent review limits
• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download data from SkillPlum for commercial purposes without permission
• Attempt to access, modify, or delete data belonging to other users
• Use the site to harass, defame, or threaten any individual or organization
• Interfere with the operation of the site or its infrastructure

Intellectual Property

The SkillPlum website design, branding, and original content (including AI-generated descriptions) are the property of SkillPlum. Federal data displayed on the site (IPEDS, BLS, DOL) is in the public domain.

User-submitted reviews remain the intellectual property of their authors. By posting a review, you grant SkillPlum a license to display it as described above.

Third-Party Links

SkillPlum links to external websites (school websites, sponsor websites, state agencies). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of these external sites.

Disclaimer of Warranties

SkillPlum is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information will be completely accurate or current.

Limitation of Liability

SkillPlum shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on information provided on the site, including but not limited to enrollment decisions, career choices, or financial commitments.
