B.E. Hassett-Millwrights, Inc. sponsors this non-union Millwright Apprenticeship program in Louisville, Kentucky. The program spans four years, incorporating 8,000 hours of on-the-job training and 576 hours of related technical instruction. Apprentices work alongside experienced millwrights on machinery installation projects, learning precision alignment techniques, rigging practices, welding fundamentals, and the operation and maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Technical coursework covers blueprint reading, industrial safety, mechanical systems theory, and trade mathematics.
Graduates of the program earn journeyman millwright credentials and are equipped to work across Kentucky's manufacturing and industrial sectors.
