Bullseye Refrigeration & A/C Inc. sponsors this registered HVAC Technician apprenticeship in East Haven, CT. This employer-sponsored, time-based program gives individuals in the greater New Haven area a paid, hands-on route into the refrigeration and air conditioning trade backed by a registered apprenticeship credential.
Over four years, apprentices accumulate 8,000 hours of on-the-job training and complete 576 hours of related technical instruction. Field work includes installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration and air conditioning systems for both residential and commercial clients. Technical instruction addresses refrigeration principles, electrical system fundamentals, EPA Section 608 refrigerant regulations, diagnostic methods, and relevant safety and code requirements applicable to work in Connecticut.
Completing this program prepares graduates to work at a journeyman level in the HVAC and refrigeration trade. With experience gained through a registered apprenticeship, graduates are well-positioned to pursue stable, skilled employment in a trade that sees consistent year-round demand across southern Connecticut.
