About This Program

The Construction Industry Training Council of Washington sponsors a registered Plumber/Pipefitter apprenticeship based in Bellevue, WA. This non-union, employer-sponsored program is designed to develop skilled plumbing professionals for Washington's growing construction industry. Apprentices are paid throughout the program, earning wages while building the technical skills required for a career in the trade.

The apprenticeship is five years in length and includes 8,000 hours of on-the-job training combined with 576 hours of related technical instruction. Apprentices work on active job sites learning pipe installation, water distribution systems, drain-waste-vent systems, fixture installation, and code-compliant construction practices.
