About This Program
The Eastern Millwright Regional Council ATF sponsors this Millwright apprenticeship program based in Liverpool, NY. This employer-sponsored, non-union program provides a structured pathway for individuals looking to build a career installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial machinery and mechanical systems. Apprentices are paid from day one of training.
The program spans four years, requiring 8,000 hours of on-the-job training and 576 hours of related technical instruction. Apprentices gain hands-on experience with machinery installation and alignment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, precision measuring tools, and rigging techniques used to safely move heavy equipment.
