Elevator Constructors #19 JATC sponsors a union Elevator Constructor apprenticeship in Seattle, WA. This Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee program is jointly managed by labor and management, providing apprentices with training that reflects both the technical demands of the trade and the professional standards of the International Union of Elevator Constructors. Apprentices earn wages from the start of training.

The four-year apprenticeship requires 8,000 hours of on-the-job training and 576 hours of related technical instruction.
