Drywall Installer at Latherhouse

Latherhouse sponsors this employer-based drywall installer apprenticeship program located in Lakewood, CO. This non-union program provides apprentices in the Denver metro area with a structured, practical introduction to the drywall installation trade through a combination of job site experience and formal technical instruction.

The program runs for three years and includes 6,000 hours of on-the-job training alongside 432 hours of related technical instruction. Apprentices develop skills in framing, hanging, and fitting drywall panels in both residential and commercial construction environments. Training also covers reading construction documents, working with metal stud systems, installing fire-rated assemblies, and following jobsite safety procedures. Apprentices earn wages throughout the program.
