About This Program
National HVAC Service, Inc (NCCo) sponsors a registered HVAC Technician Apprenticeship in New Castle, DE. This non-union, employer-sponsored program provides structured, paid training for individuals pursuing a career in HVAC service and installation in New Castle County.
The apprenticeship is 4 years long and includes 8,000 hours of on-the-job training paired with 576 hours of related technical instruction. Apprentices develop practical skills through daily fieldwork on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, supported by classroom instruction covering refrigeration theory, electrical controls, system troubleshooting, ductwork, and OSHA safety requirements.
