The Northern California Area Plumbers, Pipe and Refrigeration Fitters Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (J.A.T.C.) sponsors a registered HVAC Technician apprenticeship based in Marysville, California. This JATC program serves the greater northern Sacramento Valley region, training apprentices through a proven industry-sponsored model that combines employer site work with structured technical instruction. Apprentices earn wages throughout the four-year program.

The program includes 8,000 hours of on-the-job training with signatory employers across the northern California area, supplemented by 576 hours of related technical instruction delivered through the JATC. Apprentices develop skills across plumbing, pipefitting, refrigeration, and HVAC systems on commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
