About This Program
Northwest Lineman College sponsors its Power Delivery Program as a registered lineman apprenticeship in Reynolds, GA. This non-union, training-provider-sponsored program brings NLC's curriculum and instruction to central Georgia, preparing apprentices for careers in electric power transmission and distribution. Apprentices are paid throughout the four-year program.
The apprenticeship includes 7,000 hours of on-the-job training and 576 hours of related technical instruction. The Power Delivery Program focuses on building comprehensive lineman competencies, including overhead and underground line construction, high-voltage safety, equipment operation, pole installation, conductor stringing, and transformer work.
