Operating Engineers 150 Inspector JATF sponsors a registered Operating Engineer apprenticeship with an inspection focus in Wilmington, IL. This employer-sponsored program trains apprentices in the inspection side of heavy construction operations, developing skills needed to assess and verify the quality and compliance of construction work and materials. Apprentices are paid from the beginning of the program.
The four-year apprenticeship includes 6,000 hours of on-the-job training and 432 hours of related technical instruction.
