The Painters DC16 JATC-Glaziers – Northern California & Nevada Finishing Trades Institute Southern NV Painter Apprenticeship is a registered union program based in Henderson, NV. This JATC program combines labor and management oversight through a regional finishing trades institute to deliver paid, high-quality craft training for apprentices entering the painting and glazing trades in southern Nevada.

The 3-year program includes 6,000 hours of on-the-job training and 432 hours of related technical instruction. Apprentices gain practical skills in surface preparation, application of paints and protective coatings, spray and manual techniques, and final finish quality standards across commercial and industrial settings. Classroom instruction covers safety regulations, materials identification, trade calculations, and applicable industry codes.
