The Painters DC16 JATC South – Northern California & Nevada Finishing Trades Institute Painter Apprenticeship is a registered union program located in Henderson, NV. This JATC program is jointly administered through a regional finishing trades institute, providing apprentices in southern Nevada with structured, union-quality training in painting and finishing crafts.

The apprenticeship runs for 3 years and combines 6,000 hours of on-the-job training with 432 hours of related technical instruction. Working alongside experienced union journeymen, apprentices build skills in surface preparation, paint and coating application, spray technique, specialty finishes, and quality inspection.
