The United Association (UA) Steamfitters Local 475 sponsors this JATC-affiliated Plumber/Pipefitter apprenticeship based in Warren, NJ. As part of the United Association, one of North America's leading pipe trades unions, this program offers rigorous, standardized training backed by decades of industry experience. Apprentices are paid throughout the program with wages that increase as skills progress.
This five-year apprenticeship requires 8,000 hours of on-the-job training and 576 hours of related technical instruction. Apprentices develop skills in steam fitting, high-pressure piping, HVAC systems, welding, and industrial pipe installation.
