About This Program
Utility Safety Training Service – Electric Lineman Apprenticeship CRS in Council Grove, KS sponsors this non-union Lineman Apprenticeship, with a focus on developing skilled, safety-conscious electrical line workers for the utility industry. Apprentices are paid throughout the program and receive training that reflects the real conditions and demands of utility line work.
This four-year, time-based program encompasses 7,000 hours of on-the-job training and 576 hours of related technical instruction.
