Ventura Co. Plumbers & Pipefitters JAC offers a union-affiliated apprenticeship program in Oxnard, CA, preparing workers for skilled careers in plumbing and pipefitting. Backed by the Joint Apprenticeship Committee, this program connects apprentices with union employers throughout Ventura County while providing structured training and paid work from the start.

Over five years, apprentices complete 8,000 hours of on-the-job training and 576 hours of related technical instruction. Field experience covers pipe installation, system layout, and working with water supply, drainage, gas, and steam systems. Classroom instruction addresses trade mathematics, code compliance, safety practices, and blueprint reading.
