Chef License Requirements in Maine

Maine does not require a statewide occupational license for chefs or cooks. Food establishments are regulated by the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry and the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention, but no individual chef license is required at the state level.
