Welder License Requirements in Vermont

Vermont does not require a statewide occupational license for general welders. The Vermont Office of Professional Regulation does not issue a welder-specific license. Boiler and pressure vessel welding is regulated by the Vermont Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Division. Employer certifications per AWS or ASME may be required.
