About Center for Naval Leadership

Center for Naval Leadership in Virginia Beach, VA is the Navy's leadership-training command at Dam Neck within the Naval Leadership and Ethics Center. Mission guidance dates to April 22, 2014, and a 2021 change-of-command release said the center had facilitated instruction for more than 4,000 Navy leaders and spouses. NLEC now operates from Newport, Dam Neck, and San Diego, with programming centered on command-triad and short-term leadership training.
