About Eastern Virginia Medical School
Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA is a medical school founded in 1973 through a grassroots community effort. On July 1, 2024, it became part of Old Dominion University's Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences and continues to serve Hampton Roads with MD, physician assistant, pathologists' assistant, and healthcare administration training. The medical program holds LCME accreditation, and the physician assistant and pathologists' assistant programs hold ARC-PA and NAACLS accreditation.
