Electrician

Electrician is a one- to two-year certificate program at Indian Capital Technology Center-Muskogee, a public vocational school in Muskogee, OK. The program is part of the construction trades field (CIP 46.0302) and provides training in electrical theory, wiring methods, National Electrical Code requirements, conduit installation, circuit analysis, and commercial and residential electrical systems.

In addition to the Electrician program, Indian Capital Technology Center-Muskogee offers certificate training in Graphic Communications, Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications, Mechanical Drafting and Mechanical Drafting CAD/CADD, Carpentry, and Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation and Refrigeration Maintenance Technology. Graduates are prepared to enter the electrical trade as apprentices or entry-level electricians working with residential, commercial, and industrial contractors.
