Jewish Theological Seminary of America

The Jewish Theological Seminary of America (JTS) is a private nonprofit institution located in New York, New York, serving as the academic and spiritual center of Conservative Judaism in North America. Founded in 1886, JTS offers undergraduate, graduate, and rabbinical programs grounded in Jewish law, history, literature, and theology. The seminary draws students from across the United States and internationally, preparing graduates for careers in the rabbinate, Jewish education, and scholarly research.
