Welding Technology/Welder

Welding Technology/Welder is a one- to two-year certificate program at Lane Community College, a public institution in Eugene, OR. Within the welding technology field (CIP 48.0508), the program trains students in shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), and other welding processes used in manufacturing, construction, and fabrication industries.

Lane Community College also offers programs in Drafting and Design Technology/Technician, Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering Technology/Technician, Construction Engineering Technology/Technician, Computer and Information Systems Security/Auditing/Information Assurance, and Animation, Interactive Technology, Video Graphics, and Special Effects.
