Surveying Technology/Surveying

Surveying Technology/Surveying is an associate degree program at New Mexico State University-Main Campus, a public university in Las Cruces, NM. This program falls within the engineering technologies field (CIP 15.1102) and trains students in land measurement, geospatial data collection, boundary determination, and the use of surveying instruments and software used in construction, land development, and public works projects.

NMSU also offers programs in Athletic Training/Trainer, Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse at the associate and bachelor's levels, Registered Nursing, Nursing Administration, Nursing Research and Clinical Nursing (bachelor's), and Animation, Interactive Technology, Video Graphics, and Special Effects. Surveying students can expect coursework in geodesy, GPS technology, geographic information systems, and legal aspects of land surveying, alongside field-based training with modern surveying equipment.
