Athletic Training/Trainer

Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico-Ponce, a private nonprofit institution in Ponce, PR, offers an Athletic Training/Trainer certificate at the two-to-four-year credential level. This program in the athletic training field (CIP 51.0913) is designed to prepare students with the clinical and theoretical knowledge needed to assist in the prevention, assessment, and rehabilitation of sports-related injuries.

The university also offers health sciences programs including associate degrees in Cardiovascular Technology, Registered Nursing, and Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, as well as a bachelor's degree in Perioperative/Operating Room and Surgical Nursing.
