About This Program
D.C. Masonry & Son's, Inc. sponsors this Mason Apprenticeship in Chicopee, Massachusetts, providing a paid, employer-led pathway into the masonry trades in western Massachusetts. This non-union program gives apprentices direct experience working with an established masonry contractor from the start of training.
The 3-year program includes 6,000 hours of on-the-job training and 432 hours of related technical instruction. Apprentices build practical skills in bricklaying, block and stone work, mortar application, and construction safety through daily field assignments. Technical instruction covers trade mathematics, materials science, blueprint reading, and applicable building codes to build a well-rounded skill set.
