Gemelli Masonry in Newton, NJ offers a registered non-union Mason apprenticeship for individuals interested in learning the masonry trade through paid, hands-on training in northwest New Jersey. Apprentices work alongside experienced masons from the start, earning wages while developing the skills needed for a journey-level career.
The program is three years in duration and includes 6,000 hours of on-the-job training alongside 432 hours of related technical instruction. Apprentices learn brick, block, and stone installation; mortar mixing and application; layout and cutting techniques; joint finishing; and safe scaffold and tool use.
