Haxton Masonry Inc. in Temecula, California sponsors this registered Mason Apprenticeship, a non-union, employer-based program that gives motivated individuals a structured pathway into the masonry trade. The three-year program includes 6,000 hours of on-the-job training and 432 hours of related technical instruction. Working on Haxton Masonry job sites, apprentices learn brick and block installation, stone masonry, mortar preparation and application, structural layout, and blueprint reading. Upon completing the apprenticeship, graduates hold journey-level mason status and are prepared to work independently on a variety of masonry projects.
