About This Program
The Masonry Association of Georgia, Inc., based in Sugar Hill, Georgia, sponsors this registered Mason apprenticeship program for individuals entering the masonry trade in the greater Georgia area. This non-union, employer-sponsored program provides paid training throughout, so apprentices build their skills and income simultaneously over the course of three years.
The program is structured around 6,000 hours of on-the-job training and 432 hours of related technical instruction. Journeyman masons work on a broad range of projects, from residential and commercial construction to restoration and specialty masonry, and the credential opens pathways to advancement and higher earning potential over time.
