Tech Roofing Services, Inc. sponsors a roofer apprenticeship program based in Chicopee, Massachusetts. This employer-sponsored, non-union program provides a structured, paid training pathway for individuals looking to enter the roofing trade. Apprentices earn wages from the start and build marketable skills through a combination of supervised field work and formal classroom instruction over the course of the program.

The apprenticeship lasts 3 years and includes 4,000 hours of on-the-job training and 432 hours of related technical instruction. Apprentices work directly with Tech Roofing Services crews, developing hands-on competencies in roofing system installation, repair, flashing, waterproofing, and safety compliance. Technical classroom instruction covers roofing materials, slope and drainage systems, applicable building codes, and occupational safety practices.

Upon completion, apprentices earn journeyman roofer credentials and are prepared for skilled employment in western Massachusetts and the broader New England region. The program provides a practical, earn-while-you-learn path into a stable construction trade.
