TOPCAT Masonry Contractors, LLC sponsors this Mason apprenticeship in Memphis, TN. This employer-sponsored, time-based program provides individuals with a direct, paid entry point into the masonry trade, with training delivered on actual job sites under the supervision of skilled masonry professionals.
Running three years, the program combines 6,000 hours of paid on-the-job training with 432 hours of related technical instruction. Apprentices develop practical skills in brick, block, and stone masonry, mortar mixing and application, structural and decorative wall construction, surface finishing, and construction safety. Classroom instruction complements field work with coursework in trade math, plan reading, building codes, and masonry materials.
Graduating from the program prepares apprentices for journey-level masonry work throughout the Memphis area and across the greater mid-South region.
