Network Technician License Requirements in California

California does not require a statewide license specifically for Network Technicians (SOC 15-1231). Note: installation of structured cabling or low-voltage wiring may fall under the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) C-7 (Low Voltage Systems) contractor license, but operating as a network technician/employee does not require a state license.
