Barbering/Barber

Barbering/Barber is a certificate program at Cheeks Beauty Academy, a private for-profit school in Cheyenne, WY. This one-to-two-year program covers the skills and knowledge required for professional barbering, including hair cutting, shaving, hair coloring, scalp treatments, and sanitation practices. Students are prepared to meet Wyoming state licensing requirements for professional barbers.

The program is offered within the cosmetology and barbering field (CIP 12.0402). Cheeks Beauty Academy also offers a Cosmetology/Cosmetologist General certificate program.
