Barbering/Barber

Barbering/Barber is a one- to two-year certificate program at Glitz School of Cosmetology, a private for-profit school located in Las Cruces, NM. The program covers barbering techniques including hair cutting, shaving, scalp treatments, and related services, with preparation for state licensing requirements.

This program is part of the cosmetology and personal grooming arts field (CIP 12.0402). Glitz School of Cosmetology also offers a Cosmetology/Cosmetologist, General certificate and a Cosmetology, Barber/Styling, and Nail Instructor certificate, providing students with options to expand or transition within the personal care services field at the same institution.
