Barbering/Barber

Barbering/Barber is a one- to two-year certificate program offered at International Beauty School 4, a private for-profit institution located in Martinsburg, WV. This program is part of the cosmetology and barbering field (CIP 12.0402) and prepares students with the skills required to work as licensed barbers, including hair cutting, shaving, facial hair grooming, and scalp treatments.

International Beauty School 4 also offers a Hair Styling/Stylist and Hair Design certificate for students pursuing related personal care careers. The Barbering program provides hands-on training in barbering techniques, sanitation and safety practices, and client services, all aligned with the requirements for barbering licensure in West Virginia. Graduates may work in barber shops, salons, or establish their own barbering businesses.
