Reid State Technical College

Reid State Technical College in Evergreen, AL is an associate degree-granting institution. Created by the Alabama State Legislature on May 3, 1963, the college began on 26 acres donated by the City of Evergreen. It is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Council on Occupational Education, and its Practical Nursing program is accredited by the Alabama Board of Nursing. Current programs include Practical Nursing, Welding, Industrial Electricity/Electronics, Cosmetology, Commercial Truck Driving, and Diesel Technology. Tuition is $129 per credit hour for Alabama residents.
